Dimmer D1224 Features
Power: Required power input is from 10 to 32 Volts DC. If the power input to the D1224 is from 10 to 16 Volts, the D1224 will operate in 12 volt mode. If the power input to the D1224 is 20 to 32 volts, the D1224 will operate in 24 volt mode.
D1224 maximum power output is 100 Watts, but the recommended load is 70 Watts (i.e. seven lamps at 10 watts each).
Controls: The D1224 has 2 button controls and 2 LED indicators.
On/Off: A brief press on the UP key will start an automatic fade-up to 100% on. Similarly, there will be a fade-down to 0% light level after briefly pressing the DOWN key.
Dimmer Function: There are 4 pre-set light levels. If either the UP or DOWN key is pressed for more than 1 second, the light level will be manually adjusted for as long as the key is pressed. While fading, there will be stops for approximately 3 seconds at the 25% and 50% light levels. At light levels below 15%, the dimmer will cut off.
Under-Voltage and Over-Voltage Protection: Built-in protection automatically cuts off supply voltage if too low or too high. For 12 volt usage, cutoff occurs below 10 volts or above 16 volts. For 24 volt usage, cutoff occurs below 20 volts or above 32 volts.
Short-Circuit Protection: Built in short-circuit protection reduces output voltage if the load exceeds 100 watts. During short-circuiting, the dimmer will cut off the output.
CE mark is valid provided dimmer is connected directly to an electric panel or battery by it's own fuse. |
